Welcome to Pizzeria Settebello
Settebello was opened in Auckland by Francesco Acri to bring a bit of Napoli to New Lynn. Being a Naples native his mission was to make pizza as he knows them - pizza Napoletana - the real wood-fired pizza that was born in Naples. He has honed his skills as a Pizzaiuolo at the renowned Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana in Naples and the little pizzeria in New Lynn that started off as a takeaway and later became a fully licensed dine-in has had many accolades as one of best pizzerias in Auckland.
Settebello pizza has all the characteristics of a pizza Napoletana. Our pizza dough is slow proved for at least 20 hours. Pizza made from dough that has reached its maturity this way is light and tasty without leaving you feeling bloated. Some of our ingredients that not available locally are imported from Italy leaving our pizza authentic in every way. Our wood fired oven is kept at 450-470C so the pizza gets cooked between 60 to 90 seconds
